Handelen is immers bij uitstek een uitdagende activiteit die behoorlijk wat stress en angst kan oproepen.<\/br><\/br><\/p><p>Als we daar niet effectief mee omgaan kunnen dergelijke emoties een negatieve uitwerking hebben op onze beslissingen. <\/br><\/br><\/p><p>Gedrag verschilt van persoon tot persoon en dat geldt ook voor triggers of stressfactoren die leiden tot impulsief handelen. Er wordt ook gekeken naar hoe onverwachte gebeurtenissen op de financi\u00eble markten, zoals volatiliteit of sterke prijsschommelingen, ontstaan als gevolg van dit gedrag.<\/br><\/br><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Het gaat zelfs zo ver dat onderzoekers in organisaties als de Securities and Exchange Commission zich moeten gaan verdiepen in behavioural finance en de invloed daarvan op financi\u00eble transacties. <\/br><\/br><\/p><p>De invloed van vooroordelen lijkt een van de belangrijkste elementen van behavioural finance te zijn. Er zijn maar liefst 5 subcategorie\u00ebn van vooringenomenheid die ten grondslag liggen aan veel markt- en handelsresultaten. Dit zijn kuddegedrag, emotional gap (het verschil tussen de emotionele reacties van beleggers en de werkelijke prestaties van een belegging), zelfattributie, mentale boekhouding en het verankeringseffect.
